Icons.

Confronted with a virtually all-male sainthood in almost every wisdom tradition, I give traditional iconography a folk-feminist twist by painting revolutionary women from history and myth, their lives, legends, and legacies filling the heart of each canvas with bold color.

Hailed as the “world's leading feminist iconographer” by Maynooth University in Ireland, I've painted nearly 200 folk-feminist icons with over 150 sold in galleries, homes, and universities around the world.

My current originals can be found at Fircrest Bottle Shop and Gallery in Washington and I accept commissions for original icons based on the revolutionary women who fill your life and heart.
